Once again, we welcome Christmas while listening to the sound of air raid sirens. Once again, we celebrate the year of Christ’s birth under conditions unnatural for the civilized world — a full-scale war waged by Russia against peaceful people. Today, every Ukrainian family marks this most important Christian holiday in whatever way they can. Yet despite everything, we all hold on to what matters most — faith in our defenders, faith in victory over darkness, faith in the miracle of Christmas, and the support of the world. Ukrainian families here at home and those now living in different countries carry God in their hearts and Ukraine in their souls. That is why no new Russian threat can destroy what was instilled by the Creator. The New Year 2025, the year of Christ’s birth, will come for Ukraine despite everything. And we believe it will be the year of our great Victory!
